A quick going over

I've been spending my time arguing against feminism at RI, but here's a bit of a quickie.

Mixed Sex hospital wards aren't going to be abolished, after all, it would seem. Can't say I really care, just brought to mind something from Private Eye a bit back, The Mail used a photo to illustrate a piece about the scandal of mixed sex wards continuing. The same photo, it turns out that they used decades ago to celebrate the introduction of mixed sex wards.

Orwell's attitude to women has always fascinated me, he was obviously torn. Hitler's refence ot women in trousers in Mein Kampf, also.

I still don't believe blacktown.net to be a CIA front.

Sally Murrer, of the Milton Keynes citizen has been a victim of police brutality and intimidation, not to mention wrongful prosecution, from doing a journalist's job and collecting information from sources, which she didn't pay for. The police were embarrassed by some of this information, such as the fact that they lost a ccmplete set of keys to the cop shop. So they arrested her, did a body cavity search and insisted on taking her to court, where she'll be in the coming year. If she loses it will become a crime to receive information from any public official.
