Bare Faced Messiah, a decent if prosaic book about Elrond. Someone had written in the library copy I read that it was all lies. Also that it didn't sell many copies, as if this was evidence of falsehood. Makes you wonder why they didn't just not bring the book back, that's stop people reading it.
